Outing

Had our first outing since Xmas today. Note the blue sky -second fine day in a row and even warm - needed sunhat and sunglasses.

Local adventures

Having had our travel in the middle of the year we are having more local adventures this January. I have put up our calendars purchased at the Grand Canyon and Monument Valley so while others in the family travel we can remember our travel. Our current adventures consist of discovering the sections and it looks as if our next trip will be to the local rubbish dump! I haven't been out of the valley since the 23 Dec.

I am pleased with the result of the effort so far. The strawberry and blueberry patch at Ruth's is much improved with weed cloth - why didn't I think of that sooner. It should reduce the weed problem. No problem with sunburn - have been gardening in the rain with a warm jersey on. "summer days" - yeah right!
